You couldn’t make it to Denver last week? Fear not, we’re bringing Denver to you on this week’s episode of The Media Odyssey Podcast with
, Matthew Hennick (The Trade Desk) and Alan d’Escragnolle (Filmhub). What does the two companies have in common?
Both ambition to reinvent how content is distributed and accessed with a fair share mindset.
For Filmhub, YouTube is winning the space because they bring massive amounts of volume and personalization and if you're gonna build a streaming service in today's modern era, that is going to win and is going to compete, you have to be ingesting millions of titles. Filmhub grabbed that opportunity and are on a race to bring the 10M+ titles available in the world to license.
As for The Trade Desk, it’s a digital advertising giant entering the most fragmented ecosystem out there. To say I’m skeptical is an understatement and Matthew knew what he was getting into, he even offered me a mug about it! You’ll have to listen or watch to get the reference.
