hate that svod streamers offer a 'for life' discount, then jack up the prices and add on more cost to stop ads after the fact. In a netflix case, its fair, ie they kept the price premium the same, and offered cheaper 'with ads'. BUT in other cases (skyshowtime, amazon, hbo etc) hook. you in for one premium price, discount for life but then you have to pay more to avoid ads. That's a different consumer proposition. Amazon was the worst as i had a annual subsription but couldnt geet rid of ads without paying exta, despite like 15 calls and mails to cusomter service.
Oh I’m with you on this one. Both HBO and Skyshowtime did that in the Netherlands and I only have one subscription left out of the two. On Prime, they were smart for themselves, sneaky for consumers.
No guide for FAST - it’s like stumbling around in a dark wood, hoping to find a path….
Don’t get me started on discovery on FAST 😅 Do you feel that for AVOD too like Tubi and others? I feel like that everywhere, the discovery headache …
