My relationship to AI has evolved in the past 18 months.
I went from cautious curiosity to the “overwhelm” phase: prompt-engineers everywhere, opportunistic gurus boasting miraculous use cases and a flood of social posts telling me I’d be obsolete if I didn’t become an AI savant overnight. I was drowning in suggestions, tips, and must-try workflows and had zero time to experiment.
By early 2025, though, something shifted. I started hunting for real, bite-sized ways it could augment myself here and there. I have a thing for Excel (as in I hate it!) and I like crunching data with ChatGPT instead.
I also saw the opportunity to reflect on how AI would impact our industry as a whole and wrote a piece on the distribution strategies of major LLMs.
Now there are days where I get overwhelmed and scared again but my fix is speaking to knowledgeable people.

and I did just that by bringing on LG Ad Solutions’ CTO David Rudnick. He runs their AI Innovation Lab to discover how machine learning and large-scale models can reshape CTV advertising.
