🎬 The Weight Of Movie Channels
In the 6 markets we tracked, Samsung TV Plus has a notable movie channel presence, but at significantly different percentages of the total channels available. In the US, which has the most available channels at 461, only 17 are dedicated movie channels, making the movie channels 3.69% of the total.
On the other side of the spectrum, Italy has 37 dedicated movie channels, the most of the EU5 and only 144 total channels, giving movie channels 25.7% of the total.
It’s safe to assume that demand for movies in FAST is higher in Europe than the US across the board, but Germany and Italy especially.
